Just as a matter of FYI ... if you don't already know about SummitPost.org ... you need to check it out, maybe even sign up. I have a small presence there.

It is the one place on the www that I can really lose sense of time and become seriously distracted.

Beaverdam Peak ...

Beaverdam Peak (pictured) ... elevation 8653 ft MSL.

Peak is northeast of McCall Idaho accessed off of Lick Creek Summit Road. It is a very doable day climb. The peak lies to the southwest of Lick Creek Summit (proper). Our approach was from the Summit to the meadow pictured, around to the right, up and then traverse below the north face to the `slot' on the left, up the slot and then ridge to the top.
